What We Offer

We offer an educational program that can be tailored to the particular needs of your workforce, and that can be relevant to both H-2A and non-H-2A workers.

Typically, the program consists of three sessions delivered in the evening over a three-week period. This is offered free of charge, and we ask only that the employer provide a meeting space with electricity and refreshments or a light meal.

The sessions cover the basics of personal money management, including:

  • Ways to track expenditures

  • Creating a household budget

  • Setting medium- and long-term financial goals

  • Maintaining an emergency fund

  • The advantages of opening a bank account

  • The “magic” of compound interest

  • Basic tax information (We do NOT offer tax advice, but rather provide an overview of workers’ tax obligations. We can also help locate local tax preparers who can assist both H-2A and non-H-2A workers.)
